What are the common layout requirements of chemical plants? What are the ways in which the is arranged? What are the requirements for the layout of the heat exchanger and its associated equipment? How to determine the spacing between the heat exchanger and the vertical pipe arranged along the pipe gallery? How is the distance between heat exchangers or between heat exchangers and other adjacent equipment determined...... The editor has compiled the relevant problems and solutions

 

(1) Shell and tube heat exchange equipment associated with the fractionator, such as the bottom of the tower reboiler, the top of the tower condensation cooler. It is advisable to arrange the process flow sequence near the fractionator;
(2) The heat exchanger for heat exchange of two kinds of materials should be arranged in the nearest position of the pipeline connecting the import and export of two kinds of materials;
(3) A shell and tube heat exchanger for heat exchange between a material and several different materials should be arranged in groups;
(4) Coolers with water or coolants cooling several groups of different materials should be arranged in groups;
(5) For the heat exchange equipment arranged in groups, it is appropriate to align the center line of the support foundation. When the distance between the supports is not the same, it is appropriate to align the center line of the support foundation at one end. In order to facilitate pipe connection, the heat exchanger arranged on the ground can also use the pipe path inlet and outlet nozzle center line alignment;
(6) The heat exchange equipment should be arranged on the ground as far as possible, but the number of heat exchange equipment can be arranged on the frame:
l) When the floating head heat exchanger is arranged on the ground, the following requirements should be met:
Both sides of the floating head and the pipe box shall have an open space with a width of not less than 0.6m, and there shall be an open space with a width of not less than 1.2m in front of the floating head end;
There should be an open space at least 1.5m longer than the tube bundle length in front of the tube box from the end of the tube box.
2) When the floating head heat exchanger is arranged on the frame, the following requirements should be met:
The platform clearance in front of the floating head should not be less than 0.8m;
The clearance of the platform in front of the end of the tube box should not be less than 1mn, and the platform should adopt detachable railing, and the space required by the tube bundle extraction area should be considered;
The height of the frame should be able to meet the needs of the tube box and the head cover of the floating head of the heat exchanger.
(7) In order to save land or convenient process operation, two heat exchange equipment can be overlapping together. But for two-phase flow medium or shell diameter greater than or equal to 1.2m heat exchanger should not be overlapping arrangement;

(8) The net distance between the heat exchanger and the heat exchanger and other equipment should not be less than 0.7m;

 

(9) Heat exchange equipment for heavy oil products or materials that pollute the environment should not be arranged on the frame;

 

(10) Above the heat exchanger whose operating temperature is higher than the spontaneous combustion point of the material, if there is no floor or platform separated, other equipment should not be arranged
