Definition
Sodium hypochlorite process in brief
The liquid chlorine in the cylinder is vaporized by the vaporizer and then enters the chlorine buffer tank for pressure regulation. Then it is measured by a flow meter and enters thefalling film absorber. Then it enters the tail gas absorption tower and is discharged through the exhaust pipe at the top of the absorption tower. 32% liquid alkali is measured by a flow meter and mixed with quantitative process water into the pipeline mixer. The diluted liquid alkali enters the tail gas absorption tower and then enters the falling film absorber. The sodium hypochlorite solution generated by the falling film absorber is pumped to the sodium hypochlorite storage tank.
Raw material consumption and product indicators of sodium hypochlorite
4.1 raw material consumption
32% Alkali solution: 560.6kg/h
Process water:654.6kg/h
Chlorine liquid: 150kg/h
4.2 product indicators
The product sodium hypochlorite contains effective chlorine ≥ 13% and free alkali 0.1 to 1.0%. Able to meet the requirements of "GB19106-2013" industrial sodium hypochlorite BI grade sodium hypochlorite
4.3Public utility consumption
Circulating water 10.5m3/h
It should be noted that parameters such as temperature, current, and voltage should be strictly controlled during the entire sodium hypochlorite process to ensure the stable progress of the sodium hypochlorite reaction. In addition, the generated gases need to be properly handled to ensure process safety.
To sum up, the production process of industrial sodium hypochlorite mainly includes the steps of electrolysis of salt water, collection of chlorine and hydrogen, hydrogen reduction and treatment of reaction products. Through these steps, industrial sodium hypochlorite products can be produced efficiently and safely.
